I am a disabled veteran with 100 % service connected disability and will complete a portion of my VA medical treatment by the end of the year and will move back to my hometown of Goodlettsville, TN in January, but the moving company gave me a quote of $4400 which I don't have. The only other option is to get a utility trailer and a hitch instead and hook it to my car to move my belongings myself. That will cost about $1600 

I would appreciate it if you would refer me to veteran or charity orgainzations that can help.

Hello, My brother Tom and I are both Veterans with disabilites(as far as we know our disabilities are not service related). Help us raise money to buy a 1960's home that has already been converted to allow wheelchair access, we are asking $400,000 to purchase and update this home. This home already has a wheelchair custom bathroom that would fit Tom's special care needs.  Also we found a used wheelchair van, E250 Ford Van with wheel chair lift, for this we need to raise $60,000, to purchase and cover tax, licences and 1st year insurance. If you think you can help, please let me know, all we are asking for is gifts of $20, we believe it may take time, but help is out there. I am Tom's brother, caregiver and fellow Veteran. Tom served proudly in the U. S. Army 4 yrs in Active duty, and 8 yrs in The Reserve, I proudly served 13 yrs in the U. S. Air Force, We served as our Father and our GrandFathers proudly served before us. We both need a home to live in together and no longer can live in apartments. Please help us if you can. Thank you everyone for your suggestions, Tom is now at a Califorina Veterans home, and is doing well. I am living with my wife in a old home and because of her income and my disabilities, we do not qualify for programs to update the house. I live in Sacramento and am looking for ways to start a fund rasier to rase money for both the house repairs and to help pay for my perscriptions, I am on medicare and I pay over $900 a month, help.

I have had medical problems for 10 years. I had neck in 1999 due to generative disc disease. In 1999 I had back surgery because I had a tumor on my lower spine and in 2000 I had further neck and back injury at work and arm injuries that resulted in 8 surgeries (4) on each arm that have made me semi disabled.
I did not work much during that time but I made it through.
I am a single 36 year old mom of 3.

I was blessed to get a job that could accommodate me in 2004 but I was laid off in March.

I had a car accident that totaled my paid of car in july of 2006. I was unable to work then for two months and that is when I started getting behind.
There was no Christmas for the kids for the first time ever.

I had a TIA this past April right after I was laid off that caused paralysis in my left eye and did not completely recover until the beginning of this July
I can not find employment because of my disabilities now. I want a job but it is hard for employers to accommodate me.

I am a single mother of three girls my husbond was robbed and killed leaving me to parent the girls alone, witch I think I have done a great job. As of the 31st of May I will be having a cancer tumor removed from my eye and I will be out of work for a few months I was told that I will have to wait 45days after surgery befor I am able to apply for for disability, And that just made me into a stressed out mother because I will not have money to pay for any bills It's not bad enough that I will be having surgery for the first time and it being cancer that is very scary for me and my gilrs. because we just don't know how this will trun out I pry that god is looking down on me. I try not to break down in front of the girls but they know that something is wrong. I just can't tell them that I don't have money to pay rent next month and we might be out on the streets. that is why I am trying to do what every i can to try. I know that their is a god and he is watching so I hope he send one of his angles do aid me and my girls in out time of need. I have never done this be for and I don't like to beg or ask for help but i have no other choice right now. I thank you for your time that you took to read this and once I get back on my feet I will come to the aid of someone elese that is in need and realy truly need help. because I know know that things can  just happen to alter a person life and some time we all need a helping hand.

you might look at me and i look normal, but i am not. i cant even go into the water. this is why i have this picture of me at the beach. i love swimming, and i can never get into the water again.if i get water in that hole i will die, due to that is how i breath.  if you would bring that picture up close you will see i have a hole in my neck. that is because i got throat cancer and they had to remove my voice box. now i can not talk unless i use a voice box, and people laugh, make fun at me, call me a robot, many names i have been called. no one wants to give me a regular job because of this. i used to sell wholesale and retail at actions, flee market, gift shops. i would just like to try to get enough money together to have a little shop to get a little business going for myself. living on soical security at 750 per month dont even cover all the bills, it pays the rent and nothing else. i still owe over 2,000 on my car and about to loose it as i dont have money to make the payment. utitities i am always begging for someone to pay my bills. i dont like this. if there is any way any one can help without scamming me or giving me fruard money i would be greatful. i put my ad on another site and alls i got was fruard checks, money trasfer, and fake money orders and fruard  cashier checks. because of this they have got my bank account in almost the 20,000 in debt. any help is apprectiated.

Well if you havent been unemployed recently,looking or starting a new job is so dificult.first you must have enough money to go and fill out apps. if you get a job you must have enough money to eat,gas money to get there every day,and money to have fresh work clothes everyday its a catch 22.This is my delimma.
